Abstract: The article discusses the phenomenon of the remake. Contemporary art is actively in the process of plot creation. Studies in large and growing array of texts and other results of creative prompts to select not so many forms and types, as a «dominant strategy» of this process – as a genre-education: cyclization and de-cyclization, fragmentation and external randomness of the whole design with a sophisticated aesthetic unity; monodrama as already established strategy; fragmented game dialogue texts; the interpretation of the texts created through a variety of generic-specific laws; globalization remarks; the literaturization. The remake is a result of applying these strategies: the desire of modern authors to update the classics of deconstruction, adaptation or alteration of the samples. A modern remake is the intertext, which is often typical attempts to recreate the integrity and unity of the world by combining the meanings of different, conflicting and complementary texts. Therefore, the definition of a remake and it is considered as a genre and as a form of assessment, criteria works «alterations» are still not folded. A remake can be called «artistic technique» of deconstructing famous classical subjects of art works in which authors new to recreate, redefine, develop, or beat them at the level of genre, plot, ideas, issues, heroes.
